Man Kun forms strategic corporation with Hong Kong’s ALLO

Shanghai-headquartered Man Kun Law Firm has recently announced a strategic partnership with Hong Kong boutique firm Andy Lau Law Office (ALLO).

Founded in 2015, Man Kun is a boutique law firm focused on the Web3.0 new economy, with deep experience in blockchain, artificial intelligence and technology finance. Headquartered in Shanghai, the firm also has offices in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Zhengzhou, Chengdu and Silicon Valley in the United States.

Man Kun was founded by Liu Honglin, who has a decade of experience in law and internet entrepreneurship. He focuses on equity financing, NFT digital collectibles and corporate compliance.

ALLO was founded by Andy Lau, and provides legal services in areas including virtual currencies, blockchain and Web3.0, financial regulation, corporate matters, capital markets and dispute resolution. Lau has more than 15 years of legal experience, with a focus on financial regulation, virtual assets, cryptocurrencies, tokenisation, fintech and regulatory investigations. He previously worked at international law firms including Linklaters and Skadden.

Man Kun addressed in a press release that the partnership forms an important part of its international expansion strategy and marks a new step in strengthening its cross-border legal service capabilities.

Going forward, the two firms will leverage their respective strengths in mainland China and Hong Kong to deepen cooperation in new economy sectors such as digital assets, artificial intelligence and fintech, and jointly provide clients with more efficient, professional and international legal services.
